In 2008 I embarked on a healing journey through yoga, seeking refuge from a life devoid of true fulfillment. This path has led me to meditation and other natural healing modalities, guiding me back to my intuition and prompting me to become a certified yoga teacher. Now, as a Reiki and Sound Healing Practitioner, I'm dedicated to helping others navigate their own paths to healing.

I help individuals find their life's purpose, unhindered by past events or limiting mindsets. Using the power of inner wound processing, movement practices and breathwork, I support the creation of greater self-awareness, personal autonomy and a deepening sense of empowerment. I focus on what is real, tangible, and felt, and facilitate the ability to heal body and spirit.

As a physical therapist turned yoga teacher, I have blended my passion for yoga, human movement, and preventative medicine into a career that allows me to share the tools for building lifelong strategies for physical and mental wellness. Since beginning teaching yoga over a decade ago, I have accumulated over 1000 hours of yoga teacher training, as well as becoming a Yoga Alliance Certified Continuing Education Provider. Complementing my yoga expertise, I hold a Doctorate in Physical Therapy, with over 15 years of practical experience in multiple treatment approaches to movement. This comprehensive background allows me to provide a holistic approach to health, integrating the benefits of both yoga and physical therapy into an experience that promotes a lifelong journey of wellness. If my study of movement over the last twenty years has taught me anything, it is that no two bodies are the same, and therefore, no two yogis’ asana practice will be the same.

I've been practicing yoga for over 20 years after embracing it as an alternative to physical therapy necessitated by a series of alpine- and sports-related injuries. I've always enjoyed teaching and sharing my experiences with others, and after 25 years in tech decided to complete a formalized yoga teaching program. My training with Yogi Aaron emphasized yoga as a restorative, centering practice focused on stability and mobility through mindful muscle engagement; my studies with Baron Baptiste and Shiva Rae have provided additional inspiration into how yoga can become a creative, spiritual and energetic focus in life. I like to weave different traditions into my own unique class style, blending challenging flows with applied yoga anatomy and muscle activation (AYAMA). I strongly believe that yoga is a lifelong journey, and I love sharing my passion through weekly classes, teacher trainings and workshops.
